Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs. “Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within. The film stars: Emma Watson as Belle; Dan Stevens as the Beast; Luke Evans as Gaston, the handsome, but shallow villager who woos Belle; Oscar® winner Kevin Kline as Maurice, Belle’s eccentric, but lovable father; Josh Gad as Lefou, Gaston’s long-suffering aide-de-camp; Golden Globe® nominee Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, the candelabra; Oscar nominee Stanley Tucci as Maestro Cadenza, the harpsichord; Oscar nominee Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, the mantel clock; and two-time Academy Award® winner Emma Thompson as the teapot, Mrs. Potts.

    1. Lol Ariana Grande don’t nees autotune btw. Her voice is great and that’s what the music industry lacks of right now. Like Taylor, Katy? Selena? Etc Wth ew no thanks

    2. Mark Marley her albums have about 10-15% auto tune . they’re were times when she was sick or her throat was acting up and the studio is on a deadline so they use it.

    3. We got Logan, Kong: Skull Island, Power Rangers, Life, Ghost in the Shell (arguably), and THIS. March was indeed one hell of a month for movies.

    1. Just got to it. Only in the middle so far but I can’t resist commenting because it’s… rather disappointing and I seriously hope it improves. Watson’s great but I can’t say I care for the script at all.

    1. +Aredhel me too! I’ve been waiting for the full version thinking that it would be the same as the trailer….but meh. Nevermind. Gonna replay this one over and over again instead of the full version.

    2. Jennifer Carmenita so true! I found the actual version of it and it wasn’t as good as this one!

  1. This looks like another great Disney film! It’s long been a dream of mine to write music their films. I’ve only got one composition on my channel – a gentle piano piece – but I’d be interested to see what you all think! :)

    1. I usually hate these kind of comments but just went on your channel and gotta say i’m pretty impressed. That some pretty good music.

    1. I really don’t think she was right for the role. They should have hired a stage actor for it instead of her. She had no presence

    1. unitedcyprus thats your opinion, everybody else have a different viewpoint. And why did you even bother to watch this trailer if you don’t find her gorgeous

  2. Why does the song beauty and the beast sound better on the trailer then the actual song itself 😭

  3. idk why the castle kept making me think of Hogwarts castle lol idk why. Emma Watson did amazing I love her. movie of the year.:)

    1. Ritaja Saha This is the first BoTB video I’ve ever been to. Also yes I’m a teenager. There’s no other reason you’d put adult in quotations😂

    2. Doesn’t matter. I love both versions and grew up on the animated original and grew up on the Potter books, before Emma was cast as Hermoine and Belle, roles that fit her perfectly, because she’s like those characters as a real person!

    3. @Harambe: Yes, there is. REAL adults do NOT have condescending, patronizing opinions, only trolling teenagers (i.e. those who purposely use insipid Internet slang like “butt hurt”, “triggered”, “social justice warrior” in conversation, those who type “KYS” in social media comment sections, and those who generally like to stir the pot with contrarian views just to spite political-correctness, even when said views are bigoted & biased) OR so-called “adults” who clearly don’t have the MATURITY they should’ve grown into (ex: The personal Twitter account of #NotMyPresident, where the real-life “Annoying Orange” in charge can spout his idiocies whilst making America look terrible, because the President is the FACE of the nation that other world leaders see as REPRESENTING the country & its people, even when he’s a blustering celebrity buffoon) behave like that. REAL adults also do NOT name themselves after a silly meme (in your case, Harambe the Gorilla, who is dead, because a child climbed into his enclosure & to protect the child from the gorilla possibly ripping them to pieces, the ape was shot), most likely because adults from older generations (the parents of us 20-30 somethings entering senior citizen age, as we 20-30 somethings enter middle age) do NOT even know what memes are, unless they’re Internet savvy. So kindly keep your noise to yourself, please.

  4. I watched the movie it’s amazeing and beautiful I accutally cried when Beast died I don’t now why I just cried like crazy

    1. ilyes mazouz How is that a spoiler? 😂 I’m pretty sure in the original movie the beast died too…unless you’ve never seen the movie lmfao

    2. I was TRYING to watch this movie with a fresh perspective because I haven’t seen it since I was a child and forgot everything about it so…. thanks for this comment 🙃🙃🙃🙃 you’re the worst.

    1. Mia XXX it’s an “all white cast”…I’m not racist or nothing but all white disney movies are always high grossing. Princess and Frog, Mulan and Aladdin, come on

    2. i love mulan and aladdin and princess and frog so much i just say that for now is my best disney movie is frozen but i love all of them

    3. Mia XXX I’m just saying I’m the biggest Disney fan especially 90’s. But white people don’t see what other races go through watching all these “all white” disney films. We can’t relate to none but a few

  5. tbh I was’nt keen on Emma Watson playing the role of belle, because I was too used to the 90’s version, but after seeing the movie, it made me so emotional. I had no idea she could sing so beautifully and i’ve been listening to the songs more and more. she did an amazing job at playing belle and took her own fresh approach fantastically. don’t judge a book by it’s cover.. but in this case don’t judge a person by their appearance.

    1. No I mean they could easily autotune a bad voice but they wanted her to sound like a cartoon

    2. Jess Jones modern technology could make a drunk monkey sound good. That’s why the music industry goes after image and willingness to do what they say over actual talent

    3. Emma Watson was trained to sing by Paige O’Hara & she was born in the tale’s homeland of France although she was raised British. So, she was perfect for Belle, because she’s like her in real-life. She’s headstrong, independent, dorky/nerdy, book-smart (as in, she’s a bookworm), and a staunch feminist. Belle, as far as Disney’s version goes, was always looked at a role model character. Even when Paige O’Hara was performing the 1991 film version, Belle was designed to be a woman with 20th Century values stuck in a village that followed patriarchal tradition & was trapped with a pre-Suffrage Movement/anti-woman mindset (as evidence by Gaston, whose male chauvinistic views was not only acceptable, but expected in the times back when females were considered “property” without voices of their own & had to make do with who they were married to, whether they liked it or not).

  6. me and my sister cried and loved the dancing and the ending it was a beautiful movie I loved it so much!!!! (Disney keep on making those good movies)!!!!!!

  7. Guys take note on how to get a girl:
First kidnap her father and lock her up, she will eventually fall in love with you!
    Genius plan!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤔🤔🤔🤔😂😂😂😂😂😒😒😒😂😂😂

  8. why does Belle have my face? My daughter and I went to the cinema to watch this movie and I was in shock.

    1. why do you have Belle’s face? We went to watch Harry Potter and we were totally shocked

  9. This rendition of this story was mediocre at best. I feel like they should have hired more stage actors instead of well known names. A lot of it made me cringe to watch. There little to no “stage” presence with A few of the main actors. I really don’t know how this made so much money with such a lack luster performance.
